The printer features a 200 dpi print resolution and utilizes a thermal transfer ribbon to make the image on your disc. With the software that Casio provides, it appears that any True Type font can be used as well as images to decorate your disc however you desire. If you need to get a little creative, there are multiple colors of ribbon to choose from. If you are on the go and working, you can power the printer via 8 AA batteries. The printer measures 6-1/16"x5"x2-3/4", weighs 550g, and is going to cost you $59.99.
From the Casio web site; CW-E60 directly prints on the disc and features a USB connection for fast hook-up to your PC. An on-screen preview image shows exactly what will be printed on the disc. The CW-E60 is a thermal printer with a print area measuring 5/8” x 2 15/16” and is powered by 8 “AA” size batteries or an AC adaptor. The complete package includes: AC adapter, USB cable, software, black ink ribbon, template and sample CD-R for testing. There are also many different tape colors to choose from.
